Diane has been in the bridal business for over 30 years and designs many of the dresses and accessories in the shop. I never felt rushed and on my first visit I had the store to myself so I could browse, and I had Diane's undivided attention which was the shopping experience I really longed for. They didn't make me feel stressed once and made my dress look 100x better. ![]() Her stitching fell apart, the sleeves weren't the same sizes on each arm, cutting of the fabric wasn't clean, a button she added broke off, and the shade of sleeve were noticeably different from the chest area.īless my mom and aunt, spent 2 straight days trying to fix all her mistakes and make the most of what they could. Long story short, her work is unprofessional and sloppy (as you can see below in the pictures). When I went home to try it on for my family, EVERYTHING FELL APART. I felt like if she tried to "fix" it anymore, it would've gotten worse. I was still intimidated to tell her how unsatisfied I was and just wanted to leave the store. ![]() On our last "fitting", two days before the wedding, she "fixed" some things, wrapped the dress up, and walked me out. Like, who does that? and doesn't apologize? The wedding was getting closer and the last thing I wanted was to have a breakdown about my dress, or have someone disrespect my mom again. At one point, she walked away from us, and said "I'm done". During the process, she made offensive comments to my mom and I, and never admitted she was wrong. I was honestly confused, because at times she was really nice and at times I felt like I couldn't truly speak up for my preferences from her passive statements.ĭiane was supposed to alter my dress to make a long sleeve and covered from all over. ![]() It wasn't until I paid her the full amount, that I started noticing her being more hostile with her comments. She always mentioned how "experienced" she was, so I went along with it. I would NEVER recommend anyone getting their dress from here, and ESPECIALLY altered. But is this what happens to all the honest reviews?! They get requested to be deleted instead of trying to follow up and make mends :/ Please don't go to this store, I'm sure you'll find another bridal shop that will respectfully help you create your happily ever after!Įxtremely heartbroken and disappointed, definitely not worth what I paid, overly expensive and poor customer service. Read More From there you can really tell that they have exceptional service and they care so much about you and your dress. She wanted to make sure that nothing will go wrong with the dress. The day finally came when I had to pick my dress up and I was surprised that Diane herself actually walked me to my car and put my dress in the trunk. The alterations appointments all went smoothly and Diane even asked on my availability and was very flexible with the times. Because I had the experience from another bridal salon, I could easily say that their service is just topnotch compared to everyone else’s. And after an hour, I finally found the one. It was everything I’ve hoped for! They gave me suggestions on the style that would look good on me. When I started to look at all their collection, I was just wowed. And then I was warmly welcomed by Elizabeth and then finally the owner, Diane. I was first impressed with how the bridal salon looked. So there I went, 2 months before my wedding, I went to D’Angelo’s and from the moment I stepped in, I knew I was going to find “the one” here. ![]()
